After presenting our ideas to the rest of the class/audience, an issue that soon became apparent was the fact that we couldn't fit too much stereotypical content into our short film. The audience feedback enabled us to re-think our ideas of adding an african culture into the short film with regards to timing factors (not having enough time) and demonstrated to us how difficult it would be for us to show Asian and African culture together in our short film simply because of the nature of our film.
Overall, the audience thought our short film pitch was a good idea and would be successful if we produced it properly and others found it confusing with the idea of having to merge all these different themes together. In my opinion, i think the audience found some aspects of it confusing because we didn't present it in a very clear and understandable manner; instead we presented it how it sounded like to us in our heads.
The audience was also slightly confused as to where the filming will take place after we explained it will take place in various locations. For example the airport scene where the main character arrives and the park where the daydream scene will take place. We was told that we would not be allowed to film in the airport due to security reasons however we discovered bt phoning up London City Airport, we was made allowed to film under a number of circumstances.
